(and throughout the past week) safe travels to and from Wisconsin and the Twin Cities. I put over 500 miles on the car and drove through multiple snow storms and didn't have a single scare!

a new fiance' for my grandma and a fun Christmas gathering with family and friends! Also, he gave me the opportunity to see the gift of one of my best friends getting married to a wonderful man.

Safe travels from Wisconsin to the Twin Cities after a very heavy snowfall. I saw one semi truck roll over in a ditch, a two-car accident and another semi slide into a frozen lake. Thank you for your protection!

The ability to reconnect with family members that I haven't seen (nor remembered!) for many many years and to celebrate Christmas with all of them.

Today He Gave Me...

An evening of good food, good gifts and GREAT family time! Also, the chance to worship twice today, once at work and once afterwards.

From an e-mail that was sent to me on Christmas Eve -

"Today he gave me...time to reflect with my family about wonderful memories from child hood and growing up.

He also gave us the opportunity to see the joy on our son's face. (something that we had to wait along time for)"

The drive to complete my education outline for the "If Jesus Were Mayor" course. Now I just have to teach it! AAAGH!

I can only hope that I do well with this! This is a scary (but wonderful) gift!

Today He Gave Me Is Back!

This is a place for you and I to post the daily blessings we have received from God. It is based on the verse Romans 11:29 -

"For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable."

Be it the gift of a newborn child, or just the ability to display grace to someone who's less than easy to get along with, all persons on earth are blessed with gifts DAILY.

This blog had existed a few years prior, but I was frustrated with the lack of response and eventually deleted it. That will not happen again! I have realized that results, large or small, take patience and time.
